Hi I am Donna.
I am the Director / Social Worker of Optimum Me Support Services.
I have a Masters degree in Social work, graduate certificate in Mental Health, and a Bachelor degree of Visual Arts, along with multiple certificates in various practices (CBT, Somatic Interventions, EMDR, Small business Management & Property)
During my years of study I stumbled into employment in the disability sector as a support worker, mentor & social worker; in which my passion for assisting others to reach their potential, grew.
I found that at times everyone may hit a low, feel stuck or even simply not know how to access resources available to them. Having the skills I've acquired over the years, I realized these are skills that can be utilized by you (the participant) to achieve living your optimal lifestyles.
I enjoy setting goals, providing you with tools to build your capacity to assist you to live your most autonomous life.
My Hobbies: art, photography, scuba diving, sailing, cooking, camping, beach, nature walks, go karting, quadding, building/ upcycling, crafts, finding quirky cafes etc
My Interests: travel, crimes/ mysteries, documentaries, science, robotics, space, animals, comedy shows

Hello I'm Kadiesha, but you can call me KJ.
I am a support Worker and have been loving this job since I started early in 2022.
I am working towards a degree in OT after leaving my nursing degree to pursue a career in Disability, and one day be partner in the Optimum Me Support Services business.
I completed work experience in a disability support role back in 2020 whilst completing y12. I really enjoyed the feeling I got seeing others happy when they achieved their goals. This feeling is what made me realize I wanted a career as a support worker.
Struggling with anxiety myself in the past, I found ways to beat the challenges I faced, especially when in new settings, uncomfortable situations or trying to join groups in the community when i really wasn't comfortable. These skills are interchangeable to many aspects of one's life so I want to be able to share them, showing other how to beat their challenges too - and to reach an optimum life.
My Hobbies: Music, board games, nature walks/ hiking, shopping, movies, quading, go karting, darts, and plenty more
My Interests: poetry, makeup, space, war history

Hello I am Monica, I am a mother of two who has recently started a career in support work. Having completed a diploma in community services I aim to assist others live their lives to their full potential. I am caring, witty and adventurous and love to find little adventures to go on. My interests and hobbies are ever expanding, so why not suggest something and we can give it a go!
I am worldly (both from travel and knowledge) and know how to cook various cultural dishes (Australian, Mediterranean etc)
I am Australian born, and have converted to Islam as my religious preference, therefore have much knowledge of both Christianity and Islamic practice for participants who are religious.

I joined OMSS in 2024 and am the newest member to the SA team. After completing school, i continued my studies in community services, knowing my passion aligned with becoming a support worker. I am enthusiastic about getting out into my community to assist others in building up their independence. and social connections.
I work from an empathetic and strengths perspective, which is second nature of my personality.
Raised in a multicultural cultural community in QLD, and having indigenous family ties I especially like to connect with first nations and those of CALD backgrounds

I am a sub-contractor support worker with Optimum Me Support Services and obtain a cert3 in Individual Supports.
I have been working as a Support worker for 2 years and thoroughly enjoy my time spent with participants. Helping build on your current skills, sharing interests and even learning things; makes me one happy worker!
Prior to my career in support work I held a long standing career as a theatre make up artist and as a teacher to Adelaide's upcoming artists. I have enjoyed mingling with many superstars whilst glamming them up for their shows. I have an abundance of stories we could talk about, especially if you like the world of theatre, acting, and musicals.
I speak fluent Italian and English and am well travelled. Not a moment will go by which you will be bored in my company.
